    Blood pressure medications have made me deathly ill.They cause anxiety and depression.I’m currently working on the dash diet.

    Hi Curtis,

    Working on switching to the DASH diet is a great start on lowering your blood pressure naturally. Don’t forget that blood pressure can be affected by many factors so don’t forget regular exercise, relaxation exercises and losing weight. Changing any one of these factors can certainly lower blood pressure but working on all of them simultaneously can be even more effective.

    It also works to tackle one at a time so you don’t get overwhelmed; once you succeed in switching to the DASH diet and if you still need more improvement in your blood pressure you can start on a second change.
