I read an interesting article about the impacts of meditation on blood pressure. For one there are no side effects and no drugs to take. It makes sense really, in this fast paced way of life, most people do not take time for themselves to relax and recharge. Giving yourself time to be still and clear your mind helps the body regulate and relax. Just trying to meditate or even be still for 10-20 minutes a day can significantly reduce your stress and in turn lower your blood pressure.
