NYC Health Dept. Gives Out Free Devices

The health Department in New York City is giving pharmacies free blood pressure devices to pharmacies in areas where the residents have the highest rates of hypertension. The South Bronx and Brooklyn have some of the highest rates in the city. Sometimes there will be no symptoms and people can have a heart attack or stroke without warning. The agency says that people must get checked so they know if they could become a victim. These devices also share some tips on how to handle their high blood pressure.
