Preemies With Low Blood Pressure Susceptible to SIDS

According to this article researchers found that premature infants often have a lower than normal blood pressure in the first six months of life and they can be more susceptible to SIDS. A theory that is discussed that there is a significant drop in blood pressure when they are sleeping and they do not recover. It seems to be unclear whether or not it is a direct connection but doctors are conducting more studies.
